Fiesta in the Plaza

Join the Mexican American History Project, in partnership with the Greeley History Museum, for an exciting evening celebrating Mexican American culture, and a significant milestone for MAHPG--the publishing of their book “Our History. Our Voice. Celebrating 125 Years of Mexican American Heritage in Weld County (1900-Present)”! This free event runs from 4 to 6 pm on Sunday, September 6th, and features live entertainment along with activities and demonstrations of tortilla making and blacksmithing, among others. Moms Unhinged Stand-Up Comedy Show(s)
Where: Dickens Opera House in Longmont and The Comedy Fort in Fort Collins
When: September 9th (Longmont) and September 13th (Fort Collins)
This September, Colorado-based comedy show Moms Unhinged makes a couple of stops in NoCo as the show tours the Front Range. Moms Unhinged gives local female comedians an avenue to “explore everything from motherhood to midlife crisis, marriage, divorce, online dating, and other things that irritate us.” These shows strive to present a “diverse set of voices” and highlight local comedic talents in each city. Loveland Chocolate & Cheese Fest
Where: The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland

It’s party time in the middle of September with the Loveland Chocolate & Cheese Fest! From 11 – 5pm on the 19th of September, The Pederson Toyota Center at The Ranch Events Complex will play host to the best chocolatiers and cheesemakers from all around! Looking ahead to your Spring wedding? Or, maybe you’re storing up ideas for next Winter? No matter how far out your big day is, it can be fun and informative to spend a day sampling the wares of local vendors. The Colorado Bridal Show, taking place in NoCo towards the end of September this year, features an assortment of customizable wedding items, sample reception tables, and more! On Saturday, September 26th, Berthoud Recreation Center offers a special evening “where dads and father figures can create lasting memories with their daughters.” The event is open to any fatherly role-model, including grandfathers, uncles, and brothers!
