Spring officially starts on March 20th this year, but things are already coming to life in the Front Range, with more events starting up as the weather gets warmer. If you’re looking for things to do this March in Fort Collins, Berthoud, Loveland, Longmont, or the Northern Colorado area in general, you’ve come to the right place. As a local, I know these towns well and have compiled a list of suggestions of things to do in Northern Colorado, March 2026.

25th Annual Spring Holistic Fair

Where: The Ranch Events Center in Loveland, CO

When: March 7th, 2026

Entering its 25th consecutive year, The Spring Holistic Fair in Loveland offers the opportunity for attendees to “explore alternative choices for taking care of your body, mind, spirit and our environment.” If that kind of thing piques your interest, this fair will let you sample a wide variety of holistic practices and shop to support the work of local artisans. The event offers a discount on admission with a donation to their canned food drive, benefiting the Food Bank of Larimer County. St Paddy’s Day Run

Where: Town of Berthoud, CO

When: March 14th, 2026

This St. Patrick’s Day, don whatever green you have and join your NoCo neighbors on a run through the little town of Berthoud! Choose to participate in the “Lucky Charms” Run (2K) or the “Shamrock Shuffle” (5K) for a fun and fit time. The fun doesn’t have to stop when you cross the finish line, either. While you cool down, you can take a stroll around Berthoud and enjoy additional St. Patrick’s day festivities hosted by Berthoud’s local businesses! Spring Fling Farm Tours at Morning Fresh Dairy

Where: Morning Fresh Dairy Farm in Bellevue, CO

When: Starts March 19th and runs until April 5th

Morning Fresh Dairy offers tours most of the year, but their Spring Fling Farm Tours are something extra-special! These specialized tours not only offer an in-person look at the different features of this family-owned business, but offer “special Spring-Fling treats” and tastings as part of the tour. If you’re planning on going, be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, because these tours take place “rain, snow or shine”! Longmont Spring Home Show

Where: Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont, CO

When: March 27-29th, 2026

Are you a homeowner who prefers a hands-on approach to choosing things for your home? Sometimes the in-person experience can’t be beat. The Longmont Home Show brings together a wide variety of local and national vendors, giving NoCo residents the opportunity to learn about different offerings in their area in more detail than it’s possible to get online, and may even feature services you haven’t heard of or weren’t expecting. Inside NSF NCAR’s Science, Stories and Breakthroughs

Where: Loveland Museum in Loveland, CO

When: March 28th, 2026

Join The National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) at the Loveland Museum on Saturday, March 28th, for a presentation showcasing features of NCAR’s six-decade long history.
